Trekell 30 Day Art Challenge

Once a year we host a 30-day Art Challenge to bring out the creative genius in you. Like a marathon for runners, or a NaNoWriMo for writers, we throw down a gauntlet of daily challenges that will inspire you to have fun with your art for an entire month.

This year’s theme is music. Bands and musicians, specifically. We’ve included everything from Bowie to Biggie, Billie Eilish to Billie Holiday, and Siouxsie Sioux to Stevie Wonder.

Immerse yourself in the sounds of your favorite songsters while you draw and/or paint whatever you like as it relates to the musician or band. Some examples might be the musicians themselves, an album cover, a lyric, or a song title. We aren’t specifying any particular direction, so you have carte blanche to create what you like.

How it Works:

We’ll choose a winner each day and that person will receive a $25 Trekell Gift Certificate. Those who enter every day of the Challenge will be entered to win a $250 Trekell Gift Certificate grand prize.

Check out the highlighted artists--those days will be judged by a Trekell Pro Team Artist! We will announce the winner of the grand prize on March 31st. Post your entries using hashtag #trekell30 each day. (Tip: Don’t post too far ahead because we look through the newest entries each day.)

Bonus! For a super special twist and extra street cred for you, tag a living artist/musician from the list and if they share your drawing or painting on their feed or story send it to us for a $100 Trekell Gift Certificate!

How to Enter:

• Create artwork based on the day’s prompt.

• Post your piece on Instagram using #Trekell30 and tag @trekell_art_supplies

• Each day we’ll choose the winning piece of art from the Instagram posts from the previous day. Winner will be announced each morning (PST). Our final winner will be announced on 3/31/2021.

• Each daily winner will get a $25.00 Trekell Art Supplies Gift Certificate to use on Trekell.com
