Limited Edition Diptych and Triptych Panels

Limited Edition Diptych and Triptych Panels

It's time to announce our next round of limited edition premium panels - DIPTYCHS and TRIPTYCHS! Though, you could certainly turn any of our panels into diptychs or triptychs we’ve decided to put a spin on things. Instead of using two or three separate panels to create one artwork, we have created diptychs and triptychs by routing two or three (respectively) frames onto one solid panel in four variations!

Gable Diptych Panel

Trekell's Gable Diptych Panel is an homage to the traditional diptychs found on many alters such as the Diptych with the Coronation of the Virgin and the Last Judgment; circa 1260 –70 that currently resides at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Our panel has two frames tucked safely under their own roofs, you have two sections - windows or doors, perhaps - yet an infinite number of creative possibilities.

Ovate Diptych Panel

Trekell's Ovate Diptych Panel is perfect for creating dual portraits like the Diptych of Federico da Montefeltro and Battista Sforza created by Piero della Francesca in 1465-1466.

But don't let that limit you! The diptych, as a form, has had a long history of subverting expectations and pushing art to its creative boundaries. So you do you!

Classical Triptych Panel

Trekell reaches back into the past and plucks out a perfect design for the Classical Triptych Panel. Reminiscent of the religious triptychs of the 14th and 15th centuries, like Jérôme Bosch’s The Garden of Earthly Delights, 1494-1505; these gorgeous wood panels will inspire you to create your own classic no matter your style or medium.

Contemporary Triptych Panel

Trekell's Contemporary Triptych Panel is a fresh remix of an old standard. Think The Rothko Chapel by Mark Rothko, 1964… but on a much smaller scale! The triptych has a knack for evoking emotions or telling tales, using its three panels to create narrative flow or add creative  depth.

Whatever tale you choose to tell, be sure it has a happy ending. These limited edition panels won't be around for long so buy yours today and challenge yourself with a diptych or triptych . Why create one image, when you can create two or three?
